Marlene Mouton holds a BSc Ed degree from the University of Johannesburg. She taught Mathematics and Science from 1994 to 2000, then transitioned to entrepreneurship while continuing to offer mathematics tuition. Appointed PAMA South Africa President in 2012, she has led students to international competitions in India, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and Hong Kong. In 2015, A⁺Students received ISDF (Institute of Soroban Diffusion Foundation) membership, enabling students to attend the annual Soroban camp in Tokyo. The company also won the ROCCI Small Business of Year award in 2013.
