Regulation

The rules every PAMA Global member country agrees to: why PAMA exists, what members may do, what they must do, and when membership ends.

Objectives

  1. 1.Abacus and mental arithmetic can increase intelligence and enhance brain function, so all PAMA Global member countries should cooperate to promote abacus and mental arithmetic for educational development.
  2. 2.Raise the level of abacus and mental arithmetic in all member countries by holding competitions and teaching demonstrations.
  3. 3.Build friendship among member countries through the annual meeting and related events.

Rights

  1. 4.The chairperson of each member represents that country in PAMA Global as its incumbent chairperson.
  2. 5.The chairperson of each member country is obliged to attend the annual meeting and related events, and to vote.
  3. 6.Every member country should apply to host the annual meeting in its country.
  4. 7.Every member country should hold national competitions and certification exams, and train teachers, under its own company name.

Obligations

  1. 8.Every member country should promote PAMA and follow these regulations.
  2. 9.Every member country should do all it can to promote abacus and mental arithmetic education and its core values.
  3. 10.Every member country should pay its annual fee, without exception.
  4. 11.Every member country should attend the annual meeting and competition. Absence is not permitted.

Termination

  1. 12.If a member breaks these regulations and damages PAMA’s reputation, PAMA and its chairpersons may end its membership. The chairpersons may vote at the annual meeting to end the membership of serious offenders.
