Instructor certification
PAMA instructor certification develops teachers’ knowledge of abacus and mental arithmetic and their classroom teaching skills. Member organisations can use the programme to support their instructors’ professional development.
Certificates
All certificates are issued by the PAMA Secretariat. Instructors can request certificate verification from the Secretariat by email.
Endorsement
Instructor Certificates are endorsed jointly by PAMA founder Mr. David Liao and the Director of the Abacus and Mental Arithmetic and Mathematics Committee of the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Hsiao Chiu Yung.
Published descriptions differ on the number of instructor levels and their certificate outcomes. See the Implementation Rules for the reference terms, and confirm current eligibility, fees and certification requirements with the Secretariat before applying.
Apply for certification
Ask the Secretariat about the next training session and confirm which certification application applies to you.
